Resistor Bridge Detonators

Resistor Bridge Detonators are the most common type of detonators in the oilfield. Typically, this type of detonator uses a combination of a resistor network and a bridge wire to initiate the explosive train. The inherent design of the Resistor Bridge Detonator provides an added element of safety because the resistor requires a minimum current threshold to burn through the bridge wire and initiates the detonator. Resistor Bridge Detonators from JRC are an economical solution for managing costs associated with the development of wells in marginal fields.
