Core Gun Explosives
Jet Research Center manufactures a wide range of explosive loads and igniters for sidewall core guns. These highly effective, field-proven tools are can be used to retrieve reservoir rock samples in both low temperature (240°F/116°C) and high temperature (400°F/205°C) wells. The core gun loads and igniters are available in several velocities for a wide range of application from soft formations such as sands, clays & limestones, to very hard shales and calcites.
